WELCOME TO EEI, NILOKHERI

The Extension Education Institute, Nilokheri was established in 1959 as a Trainers'
Training Institute to provide training in Extension Teaching Methods and Communication
Media.

ABOUT INSTITUTE

The Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, Govt. of India has established four EEIs for four regions of the country: EEI (Northern Region) at Nilokheri, Haryana (1959), EEI (Southern Region) at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (1962), EEI (Western Region) at Anand, Gujarat (1962), and EEI (NE Region) at Jorhat, Assam (1987).
